You can find out the serial number and batch code by using one of the following methods:

Method 1

7xx2 or 7xx0 Handsets

Select Menu \ Status \ General Information

The IPEI is the Serial Number

The PID is shown

74xx (40xx) Handsets

Dial *99984*<tick> on the handset. The display will look similar to this:

< Ignore the top line < This line beginning with 00077 or 05003 is the serial number < This line contains the batch code 04w27 < This is the Software version

 

Method 2 -- DO NOT use for KIRK4080 handsets

Due to its ATEX rating customers must not attempt to change the battery in a KIRK4080 handset

Remove the battery cover and read the values from the label under the battery.

The line beginning with 00077 or 05003 is the serial number
The line with a W in it is the batch code eg 04w27
